Virtus Compact

Unlike a Nd:YAG (Neodymium Doped Yttrium Aluminum Garnet) laser, the Nd:IVO4 absorbs the energy of the pump diodes better. This means that it needs a smaller crystal for the same performance. Another advantage over the Nd:YAG laser is the better thermal conductivity, which is particularly important for compact laser systems, with low electrical power. The Virtus ™ Compact, 6W @ 1064nm, is a Q-switched diode-pumped solid-state laser. It is extremely compact (41x15x12cm), because it combines laser, scan head and control electronics in only one rugged industrial enclosure. Thanks to its extreme compactness this laser can be easily integrated into existing systems or stand-alone solutions.
