Virtus CO²

CO2 lasers have a high beam quality and a high efficiency. For this reason, along with solid-state lasers, it is one of the most powerful and most industrially used lasers. The relatively high wavelength of 10600 nm makes it easy to mark organic and inorganic materials. The CO2 laser is based on the fact that carbon dioxide, as the laser-active medium, is pumped through an external energy supply. Carbon dioxide lasers have been tried and tested for a long time and are successfully used in many different industries. In addition, carbon dioxide lasers are characterized by their remarkable efficiency, which is between 15 and 20 percent. Due to its high power, the laser is ideal for welding, with welding speeds of several meters per minute. Our reliable CO2 laser enables marking on a wide variety of organic and inorganic materials, such as painted and anodized metals, paper, cardboard, wood, ceramics, textiles and plastics. Tykma's CO2 Laser is a compact laser system and can be integrated into production lines or used as a stand-alone system. Advanced features such as external axis control, additional management via I / O's and 'Marking on the Fly' make our CO2 laser a powerful tool for every production process.
